There is plenty of storage upstairs with 2 boxes, a cloth sack, 3 baskets, 2 wooden barrels, and one barrel. I have put many items in it so far as ive been cleaning out the dewmer ruins at Arkngthand and using some of the stuff to decorate a little. After starting a new game i did a few quest where you start then I went to Balmora and did a few quests for Caius Cosades then joined the Fighters guild and did a few quests for Eydis Fire-Eye, the last quest was to assisinate Dura gra-Bol at his house straight acros the south bridge on the east side of Balmora. You can get a House early on as I have, let me tell ya how i did. Just drag and drop one you like into your loadorder and enjoy. You asked for vanilla, so that's it, but I do have another option for you: Home mods.
